Round 5 and 6 of the 2017 Lucas Oil Offroad Racing Series was everything a UTV racing fan could ask for! 20 UTVs took to the field including Discovery Channels “Diesel Brothers” stars Diesel Dave Kiley and Dave “Heavy D” Sparks.
Brock Heger would drive his Yamaha YXZ to the top of the podium in round 5 with Jason Weller coming in 2nd and Ronnie Anderson rounding out the podium with a 3rd place finish in his SafeCraft backed Polaris RZR.
For the Diesel Brothers it would be a challenging weekend, after minimal seat time the weekend before they would fight to keep up with the pack.
Brock Heger would again take top honors for round 6 on Sunday with Brandon Arthur coming in a half second later with Dustin Nelson rounding up the podium giving the Yamaha YXZ a full podium sweep.
