Well here we are again, another year goes by where we at Powder Coat Industries tell ourselves we are going to take a year off from SXS builds. Yet here we are a few weeks from the Sand Sport Super Show and find ourselves fully engaged in another one. As with several other of our builds there was a purpose for our vehicle selection and style for the build and once again we immediate engage our good friends at UTVUnderground.com to get their thought on the direction of our build and whether it was something they felt would be worthy of another feature.

We here at PCI are no stranger to UTVUnderground.com and throughout the last 10 years, have had the privilege of showing off many of our builds through their forum and now a 3rd featured vehicle. We are excited as always not only because we are able to team with some great vendors, but also feel like we always raise the bar for ourselves and the industry.

Anyways, this years build started as a 2016 YXZ1000R. We went this route for one plane and simple reason. We are huge Yamaha fans and have been loyal to the brand for many years as we patiently waited for them to make a move into the sport UTV game. Also, there was a major attraction to the manual transmission which truly give you that solid driving experience that you do not get from any other sport SXS.

As with all our builds there was a purpose behind our build. Because we primarily love and ride desert we geared this machine towards a pre-runner style build. We not only wanted a UTV that was reliable and had quality products from reputable vendors, but one that would perform at a high level and do it in style. Make no mistake, this is no trailer queen and for those who know us; she may flash for a short time, but soon will be put to work eating some desert.

I have many Vendors to thanks for our build and would like to start with thanking Joey D at UTVUnderground.com for always getting pumped on our builds and supporting us publicly. I would also like to thank my son Jared who always jumps in, gets dirty and works so very hard to make these build possible. lastly, Huge thanks to all the vendors who I am continuously humbled by and honored to have involved in my builds. Without this team, these builds are not possible therefor I truly thank you for your support. @visionxusa @alternativeoffroad @fabwerx1 @pciraceradios @glazzkraft @assaultutv @racelinewheels @arisuntires @printingboss @lonestarracing1 @streamline_brakes #mountainperformance@walkerevansracing @safeglowwhips #zielracing @mobarmor @tube_works@prpseats@utvunderground #handhpaintworks @impressionautosalon
