Well more for my Truck, around 2:25 a.m. a big bang and my alarm went off, wow WTF, got up got big flash light and went outside, I have to leave my truck park in front when I move the MoHo to connect the trailer and get ready for a trip.
So as I look at the truck, wow someone move my tuck 12' into my landscape and then I go to the back and see lots of car parts, look at my truck rear and see that it has been hit, the car went right under my truck pic it up and move it 12', hit the driver rear tire, bent the leaf spring and move the rear end + the box forward and the front got all mess up with the landscape.
Ready to call 911 and a leo turn south and the end corner, I got my light and flag him, he turn around to check it out, as we are looking at all the damage he tell me the he has place a call to the CHP to do the report, at this time he tell me that he just call a call on a accident a block from us and the guy is bleeding very bad, so I see more Leos and tow + ambulance + fire truck and I take Vick's car to check it out, WOW I guy is sitting on a grass and full of blood, I did not see a car.
Went back home, 30 min later leo come back and tells me that the car a driver are the ones that hit me and the drive was DUI and no seat belt and hit his head on the windshield almost went thru it.
WOW 5:15 am CHP come and takes report and tells me that they have the other car and divers info that hit my truck. Diver is in bad shape a Hospital.
Man what a day, Truck is being tow today ;-)

As long as it is Glass, Metal, and Plastic it can be fixed! Frank, you would have made sure he was well taken care of before you hung him;););) Your heart is big my friend and I know what you would have done! Ditto as all the others thoughts and well wishes.
You know that you would've only hung him by one Huevito. He's young and hopefully smart enough to realize his mistake. We've all been there at some time or another, I'm just glad he wasn't killed, which would've complicated things a bit more.:(
Hope the truck gets fixed right, after a hit like that it may never be the same again!

Well, you didn't go out at 1 in the morning and throw your truck in front of their drunk son!
I'd be glad that someone was concerned about his well being, just like they should be concerned about your property. But I guess I'm the exception not the rule.
We've had this conversation one too many times on the rides, but just imagine if everyone cared for each other like La Familia does... The world would be an awesome place, huh?:)

Vicky and I stop by to see how the kid was doing, we got to meet his Uncle and Mom, did not get to see the kid but His Mom told us that he OK, has a 6" to 8" cut in nis head with lots of staples, a caved in area on the right side of his head and forehead + the top of his head look like a cone head.
Here the pic's of the car, as you can see on one of them the passenger side is where the bumper of my truck hit and the diver side is where he hit it with his head.
Man God was with him.
On this one you can see the passenger door moved back.

On this one you can see the front all gone.

It's probably a good thing the ass end of your truck was so high up. If not, he would've launched right through the windshield and that frame on the car and truck would surely be buckled. He definately wouldn't be here now in that scenario.
You certainly can see it moved the whole side of the car back into the door pillar, bent the A pillar and that was just sliding underneath!
One lucky young man!
How was your presence received? I hope they were receptive to your concern for the kid, 'cause I know you were, regardless of how tough you talk. You can't fool us!!!:)
