Gettin ready to drop $1050.00 on 5 27.5x9x12 pittbull growlers is it worth it? I liked the way my terra cross worked but went threw 6 of them in a years time.3 side walls and 3 whore out. They have tread but don't bite for $hit anymore.I think the growlers are slightly over priced but if I don't tear one up every trip it would be worth it.Plus I think I could air them down more being taller.Any testimonies to the UBER XOR Growler?

Well worth the $$ if you ask me. I am famous for flats and you can't beat the 8 ply sidewalls. I don't think I have ever seen a pit bull tire worn out. Mine looked pretty good after three races. I ran NEW big horns at the Parker race and they are atleast 1/2 gone in the rear.

If they were 26.5 I'd have to think about it but I'm wanting to go bigger than what I have not smaller. But that is a pretty good deal.Pittbull almost likes the 27.5 more than I do but if everyone seems to be happy with them that's probably what I'm going to go with.

I run the 25.5 Pitbull Growlers but only 6ply and no issues since 2009.The tread on these tire will last forever. I also have a set of 25.5 rockers 8ply that I just ran in the Soboba GP 2012 and got me across the finish line.By the way what utv are you getting tires for?
