So ill keep this semi short because that's how our race went. This was our first BITD race in class 1900 and we weren't sure we were going to make it until Wednesday before the race, that's when we finished fabbing on the car. we had 0 test miles and really had no idea how the car would handle. we heard Laughlin was rough last year so we turned up the clickers in the garage, we were even doing alignment the night before the race. We were lined up on the 5th row because we entered late. Our plan was to go out and race the belt, we just wanted to make sure we preserved the belt the whole race. we got a decent 3rd place jump off the start and left the infield in 4th. it was an absolute blast out there battling with everybody! the car was working fantastic until we broke a tierod bolt halfway through the 3rd lap. second time this has happened in 2 races! so we got out and found out we lost the misalignment spacers and took out the front outer CV as well. we knew our day was done because we didn't have a spare front axle or the right misalignment spacers. we threw a new bolt in it and got the car to the highway and waited for the trailer. enjoy the video and sorry about the mud, the camera will be in a different spot next time. and we gotta thank our sponsors Elite Automotive, Fabwerx, ITP wheels and tires (32's are great!), Lone Star Suspension, Alba, Kartek Offroad, Adam at Airdam Clutches, and King Offroad.

*que George Felix bragging* lol

Very cool - thanks for sharing.

If you need any Polaris parts we will be at all BITD races with trailer load of common wear parts. Look for the Peak Powersports trailer (white/blue). We have special pricing for BITD racers.

Can also call ahead and I can bring parts to each event.

I moved over because I was rummaging around looking for a belt....lol Btw wicked bilt tie rod ends are 5/8". We use a 5/8 to 1/2 bushing and run a 1/2 grade 8 bolt. Your never going to break that. Several cars have broken those fancy machined bolts like you did.

We were running the 1/2 grade 8 bolt and broke that, maybe because we are running the 32" tires. We are almost done with our double shear chromoly spindel, the cad design parts go the the water jet today, they will be simple, clean, light and reasonably priced. Need to test first!
