After a hard roll last season it is time for a new cage. And frame repair - as the Maverick has 3/4" of twist now. I do not have a build table and my friends frame rack was in use. And maintaining a solid structure while fabricating is a must. Some time for plan B.
Floor pots would be nice but they are at least a week out. So some Oregon barn imagineering was done.
Took some 3" channel and an old 9/16 grade 8 bolt and made up these.

Fastened to the concrete floor with some 1/2" Redhead drop in fasteners so they can easily be removed.
Backed the springs all the way off. After lots of measuring and swapping jack stand was able to set the frame members on jack stands at ride height.

Used some 1.75 square tube to slide into the Maverick rails. Then yellow ratchet straps to tie it all down.
This followed up with lots of measuring ti ensure everything was level.
This provides a very solid platform for fabrication and frame repair.
Now to address and correct the twist issue - used a floor jack and slowly applied opposite force (about 10 times) in small increments, constantly measuring until it was straight.

Total cost of mounts was $30 (had jack stands & straps) and about 2hrs including drilling into the concrete floor.
Mounts are 12" long, 5/8 holes 1.5 from end, 1/2x2 drop ins rated at 1350# each. Set in a square pattern 60x54 at centers.

Hey glamis fan, what'd you end up buying after you totaled your maverick?
