So I am curious...with all the coated cylinders these days...should dust get by your filter...how quickly is major damage done to the valve seats, rings, cylinder etc. to the point you are going to burn oil, lose compression and power? It seems immediately there is a cause and effect of some sort, but to what degree?

Someone has dust past their filter, uggh I hate that. I dont know how long it would take for your top end to go. I guess that's the first thing that would be bad. Sad thing is, if you have a warranty and put an aftermarket intake on you void your warranty. So protecting yourself voids your warranty. Wtf do you do. Its a catch 22

depending on the amount of dirt, but were seeing worn valve guides and tight valves at about 30 hrs. also worn nikasil and pistons causing the engine to burn oil
