Just want to thank all the fire fighters in our area for working double time to keep these fires under control! And thankfully we get to be a part of that!
We are building a Fire Fighting UTV. It is a Ranger Crew with a diesel motor. We mounted on the back in place of the bed a pump unit that sprays a fire retardent chemical and water mixture. We fabricating front and rear bumpers to, as they say, "nock down the occasional obstacle" and a ladder to access the roof where they will spray the mixture from. We are installing a 6" lift with heavy duty axles to help with riding around in the backwoods. It will have mounts for chainsaws, shovels, and other hand tools. Also a stretcher rack for any wounded that need to be carried out.
This has been one of our favorite products thus far!
