RZR XP 1000 WINCH MOUNT Baja Front Bumper
Racer Tech is known across the UTV industry as the first company to design and produce truly RIGID mount bumpers. While every once else makes cheap bumpers that look cool, we build cool looking bumpers that actually WORK when you need them to do their job!
This RZR XP 1000 Winch Mount Baja Bumper is the easily the strongest bumper around. When you look at the design and construction you’ll see there is no other bumper that compares to its modularity and complex, yet simple design. The bumper ships in two main pieces, the lower section which is all laser cut sheet metal and serves as a skid plate, and a tubular upper section. This makes for the best approach angle, best strength to weight ratio and extremely aggressive looks. The skid plate base rigidly ties in to the bottom of the chassis in several places and the upper section bolts to the base. The upper section can also be tied structurally in to the main chassis increasing radiator safety with our proprietary Rigid Mount System assuring a ride home in the event of a crash.
This bumper also comes with tabs mounted to the back side of the upper main tube. These tabs allow you to add our “Tab Bar Upgrade†at any time if you need to add a light bar or flag mount. The tabs are also used to mount our Rigid Mount System which also mounts to the tab bar. Note: You need to purchase the Tab Bar if you're purchasing the Rigid Mount System.
For 2015, Racer Tech changed the original design of this bumper and made it capable of mounting a standard size winch at the top of the sheet metal base. The bumper will mount any narrow or wide spool winch using the standard 3" x 4.88" or 3" x 6.60" bolt pattern. The depth of the bumper was increased by 1.5" to accommodate the winch which also improved the approach angle of the bumper to be even better than the industry leading design we started with. For heavy winch use or high capacity winches we highly recommend using our Rigid Mount System. We always stand behind the quality of our product but can't be accountable for damage from abuse w/o the use of the additional bracing. For what it's worth, every other bumper in the world mounts to the same locations on the frame our standard bumper does without the Rigid Mount System. We just know how hard some people are on their stuff and we want happy customers.
Additionally, The Racer Tech Rigid Front bumper works with any winch mounted above the front differential in the standard location. It allows for a fairlead to be mounted to the skid base and gives proper alignment for cable movement. Our RZR XP 1000 Front Arm Brace / Winch Mount System is designed to work specifically well with this bumper. In Addition to pulling with a winch, this bumper itself is designed to handle all the pulling to want to do with it! It’s built to be rigid in either direction, push OR pull!
Installation is simple and fitment is excellent due to professional 3D CAD design by our talented in-house engineers. The final product is a simple yet comprehensive product anyone with a garage and simple tools can install on a Saturday. This kit is made from American steel, laser cut and CNC bent for absolute precision every time.
The Racer Tech RZR XP 1000 Winch Mount Baja Front Bumper fits all model XP1’s including Highlifter Edition and the 4 seat models. It comes powdercoated black with instructions and all the necessary hardware for installation. All inserts come standard black for all bumper orders.
NOTE: This bumper also fits all 2015+ 900 RZR models and works with our MX design!
