The Hampton Inn in Chino Hills was awesome - we stayed there a LOT last season.....nice prices, nice rooms...only about 15 min away without getting on the freeways......Starbucks, movie theatre, Buffalo Wild wings and Walmart right around it, too.....

Do you remember what you paid per nite?

Also, I know it may seem the schedule is confusing, what I meant by the track changing the first to second race was the layout and features would change even though it was at the same location.

We have worked very hard to keep the same schedule that was originally posted so as to keep the dates from conflicting with other series as much as possible.

I believe it was around $115 per night. The rooms are always really nice there, too - you always know what you are getting.

For Immediate Release:
San Diego, CA (March 27, 2009) NORRS, National Off Road Racing Series is proud to announce that it has arranged for special promotions in support of the Professional Drivers Group and other racing series.
The National Off Road Racing Series has arranged to provide drivers licenses that are 75% off of the current rate for any driver or team that is a part of the PDG. Also any team that races either of the other two race series will receive their drivers license at half off if they are not part of the PDG. If they are part of the PDG they will get their license at an 80% discount.
"We wanted to show our support of the PDG as well as help drivers and teams in the current economy. With our licenses acting as season passes and the discounts we just released it allows teams to race as much as possible. For teams that are struggling to find sponsors this will offer them more exposure to more fans and marketing with the least amount of costs." said Wesley Carr, COO.
NORRS continues to provide ways to make racing affordable. Our Drivers License and Crew License also act as season passes to get in the venues. One Crew License gets you in the entire season. No need to purchase more "wristbands or tickets" each race weekend. Your bar-coded id is scanned and granted entry.
The standard rate for Drivers Licenses are: 125.00
Crew are just 25.00

$115 not bad. We are trying to work with the Local Sheraton, Hampton Inn and Double Tree along with some others close by to get really good rates for teams that are not going to stay onsite.

Also to answer some questions about the press release and the UTV underground discount, that is not going away. What will happen is if the person registering is going to get the 50% or 75%discount off then the UTV discount will take an additional 10.00 off. if they are getting the 80% discount then it will take 5.00 off.

Dont worry UTVUG is still being taken care of...

I would say there is a 99.9999999 probability of driving to the FAIRPLEX for the first 3 races...of course wait for the official press release...but it wouldn't hurt to make travel plans.

UTVUnderground Update:

MUZZYS comes on board with Contingency Sponsorship and possibly more to come.

Muzzy's Performance Products comes on board with the NORRS series to support the UTV drivers. Offering 75.00 for first and 35.00 for second in prize/product money for all UTV classes.

NORRS will be offering a full racing program for all UTV from Expert to Rookie which will also include TV time for the racers and their teams.

We encourage all who race UTV or are interested in racing UTV to get registered ASAP for the May 23,24 Pomona race as we will be including pre-registered drivers in Race Programs for Spectators as well as Hero Cards to cheer on their favorite drivers. This comes along with the High Payouts for the drivers and the running in the points championship at the end of the year.
