In Logan's words:

"Well it's finally happened our first podium in Beset in the Desert. It feels great and I'm so thankful that all of you have believed in and supported me. Now on to the race, leading up to parker the team didn't need have to much to do to our Can-Am Maverick turbo from the Henderson 250 the car felt like a rocket and with the new springs on our fox shox the Racer tech long travel was eating up everything we could throw at it, so with a minor prep we head to Parker Friday morning arriving to tech around 12, tech took a little bit longer then normal with all the new cars this year. After tech we hung around the Blue Water casino talking to other teams and waiting for the drivers meeting. Drivers meeting complete time to rest and get ready for the race the following morning, it was hard to sleep like a little kid on Christmas looking forward to the race knowing we had what it takes to do well. 7:30 the alarms goes off shower, get ready, and real quick team meeting and we're off to the main pit to set up, 11:30 the green flag drop and wear off with the rain Parker had received earlier in the week the was almost no dust the 910 and I battle back and forth for the first 10 miles which was really fun before I know it we could see the blue light from the cars that started in front of us, the first lap was really fast coming into the main pit after the 1st lap 5th. The 951,913,919,& 910 where in front of us and as we preceded down pit row we passed the 951 & 913 exiting the pit in 3rd and back onto the course we pushed our Can-Am hard, 2 miles from main pit we came across the 919 stopped changing a belt now where in 2nd, 8 miles from that we see another car stopped on the right its the 910 changing a bad wheel. It was surreal to now be the leader of my first BITD race, it was so cool driving through the spectator areas and have everyone up and cheering. One thing I learned being out front is, its very hard. Now I'm setting the race pace and I couldn't stop thinking if I was going fast enough or not, well right before the mid way pit I found out the answer, I wasn't my teammate in 904 had caught up, knowing he started behind us and had us bet on corrected time we move to the right and allowed a clean pass so not to take either one of us out. Keeping up to the 904 for the next 20 miles and settling back down with 25 miles to go we felt good and then a loud BANG, I asked Josh what was that and before he could answer I figured it out NO brakes. Great the roughest curviest part of the course is ahead of us and we have no brakes, so now my driving has to change to compensate but I feel we are still making good time, guess not we get caught again by another teammate S3 so we moved to the right giving them a clean pass, now the panic sets in, in the last 30 miles I've gone from leading to 3rd and I know there are still a lot of fast guys behind us so I step it up for the last 10 miles to the finish line to make sure I keep our podium spot, 2 miles from the finish line I see a car stopped on the right its 904. Giving us the thumbs up we fly right by and never looked back leaving everything we had out there we race across the finish line and up on top the stage where we learn of our 2nd place finish making this our very first podium in BITD. What away to start the 2016 season and thanks again for all the support and looking forward to the UTV World Championship. "

Nice write up. Seems this years Parker 250 was plagued by NO BRAKES. Several cars experienced brake issues. Last years Parker 250 was exhaust issues and fires.....again several cars.....odd.
