PRP SEATS has several different options for all your offroad needs. This trip we picked up our new PRP 5.3 harnesses for the race car #45 Yamaha Rhino. We made a last minute decision and brought out UTVunderground's KAWASAKI TERYX 750 and headed to KING OF THE HAMMERS 2012 to experience another year of KOH in the books.
PRP based the 5.3 on 5 points and a thick 3" stap.
Installing the new PRP 5.3 harnesses in a stock KAWASAKI TERYX. It makes it very easy to install by utilizing the existing bolts and just removing the stock seat belts for a great fit. We also had the option to run a Black Rhino and Performance harness bar which I recommend to keep your shoulder straps in place. Shoulder straps are the last thing to install and there is no mounting needed and simply just wraps around the harness bar.
ADJUSTING AND LATCHING the belts.There is new easy adjustments to the new 5.3 harnesses.There is a tab you press and makes a easy release to adjust your belts to your fit or getting buckled in on the starting line. You hook up the 5 different points and buckle up.One last thing before taking off on your adventure there is a NEW sternum stap buckle to keep your shoulder straps tight and together.
FEEL and PERFORMANCE during the ride in Johnson Valley,CA. These new 5.3 harness has extra padding for your shoulders which make a comfy fit. Going at high speeds in a UTV or any OHV I highly recommend you guys looking into getting these new harnesses.
