Racertech dual stage springs

Anyone running the Racertech dual stage springs on their RZR S? Looking for a ride review.

Being a quad rider / novice racer, I have learned to appreciate proper suspension. The stock Polaris RZR S is a great machine, but the suspension needs some fine tuning as the spring set up is too soft.

Upon my research, I found Racer Tech dual rate spring set up, upon ordering the customer service was on spot for my needs being able to turn the suspension with minimal adjustments. Once speaking with Tony at Racer Tech / Spectrum, he helped me believe in trying his product of the dual rate springs.

Once receiving the springs, I removed the stock Fox racing shox, removal of the stock springs was generally easy and replacement of the new dual rate springs was very simple with the assistance of the instructions.

Now being that my RZR is generally utilized for sand, I set it up for my local sand spot Pismo beach (Oceano Dunes SVRA) Pismo is known for having hard sand during the winter months due it being on the ocean. My first ride out, I knew what I had to do a fence run to see how fast the machine could handle now and to tune the Fox Shox. After listening to Tony, he informed to tune them all the way soft and work my way up with adjustments. With minimal adjustments (4 or 5 click and turn here and there. My ride was super plush. The rough sand did not feel so bouncy and rough. The whoops sections were awesome handling without the bucking in the rear and still had great maneuverability. For all around purpose sand riding the machine was night and day for jumping and great dune riding without bottoming out or â€œg outsâ€.

Now for the track, the machine is a different animal on the local track. The suspension needed minor tweaking from the sand set up. We were able to handle the tight cornering and utilizing the banked turns. As for the jumps, I was quite impressed with the way the suspension held up. We were able to flat land table tops (trying to bottom out the machine) and with minimal to no bottoming out. The double on this local track is awesome and with this dual rate suspension was very impressive with perfect control out of the landing. Once again no bottoming out! The sag and adjustability in the fox shox with Dual rate springs is so nice for the price and time spent adjusting made this purchase a no brainier. Racer Tech Dual Rate springs has my vote and support.

Are these springs 1.5" like the stockers or 2" with the adapter retainers at the top and bottom? Are you still using the stock retainers.

I believe they are the 1.5 like stockers and use the same retainers on top and bottom and they supply the collar between the 2 springs it is an awesome set up and Tony at Racertech knows how to pick your best set up!
