I just picked this up and its insanely light. I don't even think it weighs a pound. Hell the quick release is heaver .. Not something for off road, but for just 300' drags this is the cats meow..

hey they buddy, see you went toy shopping.... Seems as though that steering wheel is for off-road... Bunch of desert teams have pics of them in their cars... Just keep from putting your pinky in the hole...it doesn't fit :p

Funny thing is there not for off-road. They said many of the guys that do use them come back with them folded..lol.. So for 300' I should be golden..

That steering wheel works for people that are a little OCD, haha. I can't stand it when my steering wheel is a little bit out of line. Thing looks great though, I have seen people use those for the big desert races though and they work fine.

Nice wheel! Why not just get rid of the disconnect to save more weight? Have you weighed the car yet after it is complete?

Steve, I need to make all the room I can in this tin can. The first Momo wheel I was going to pick up was 10" off center high like 2-3" but was like 5 lbs. and $200.00. for $79.00 I'm good. any ways I need a little weight in the car to keep that front end on the ground. :p

Joey D you are correct. It's a Joe's Racing wheel.. I have seen then in a few off road cars, but yes there are made for circle track cars.
