My 660 tops out at 64 MPH
45mm hsr mikuni Carb
Trinity dual exhaust
Has had engine work (previous owner. Don't know what)

So what does yours top out safely at?

64 is moving for a Rhino 660!

Nate
Alba Racing
The Carb and exhaust are the only visible thing that I can see on it. Don't want to take the head off just to measure the cylinder. I don't ride with anyone to get a base to compare to :/

my 06 686 was right at 62 on GPS

like said,, 64 is very good for the rhino

if that's from the speedo, they usually clock a little fast

If you are doing 64, then it likely will have head work, piston and cam and a clutch sheave. It probably is a 686.
Speedo doesn't work, measured it on the GPS. I'm sure it would go faster but I ran out of road

You definitely have motor work. I had an '08 with an MSD and greaseless weights and barely broke 50 on the gps.

My 660 stock motor, hot rod greaseless, black rhino cdi, muzzy exhaust, uni filter, and bed delete....does 59 on the dash, gps says 61...not sure which is correct, so i go with 60mph...but if you ask any of my friends "not fast enough"...LOL

Mine would hit 64 before the piston and cam swap. This video is with my daughter in there with me and me trying to film the gps. With my 26" tires the dash showed 62 and the gps read 64.

This is after my 11:1 piston and Stage3 cam. It would hit the rev limiter at 61mph but get there much faster.

That is very impressive. Was that on a paved road?

My rhino before my motor work with just a carb, sheave and black rhino cdi would hit 50 to 53 on a flat dirt road. Any of the 660 rhinos I have been with do not see mid/upper 50s or low 60s without motor work.

The JBS sheave must allow the belt to really ride high and get more top speed.

it was on a flat dirt road...i havent been able to do a paved road run...i bought this rhino the way it is, the guy i bought it from says the motor is stock...he seemed truthful and the rhino was VERY well taken care of, with receipts for oil changes and regular maintenance....everyone that has been in it, have been surprised, and most of my friends think its got a 686 and im just BS'ing them...but in reality, i was just told it was stock...so who knows?...

I bet your motor has work done to it. Either way that is moving in a rhino.
