Put motor back together two times now and the base gasket is leaking oil really bad on the exhaust side pass side. The first time it was leaking on the top side under carb. Any suggestions????

threebond, yamabond, hondabond, permatex motoseal etc. lots of semi hardening sealers, usually white or a light gray in color.

Base is supposed to be installed dry. Mine leaked in the back pass side when I installed it backwards. If you torque the cylincer too much or not even it can pull the cases out of alignment also.

Before applying any seal the surface should be free form grease and dirt. just put small amount on the surface and the gasket and o ring and wait for some time to cure before reassembling it back. Hope it helps.
