They certainly aren't the lightest tires around but they aren't the heaviest either. My T&W package is comparable to a set of ITP Bajacross on either Walker Evens or DFR Crippler wheels. I would sacrifice a little extra weight for extreme durability every time. Light weight in the dunes is fine but when you are pounding a 1500 to 2000 lb UTV across the desert a stronger tough T&W package is hard to beat.

I love the BFG's. They are heavy. I have no problem keeping up with everyone on hard pack rides. They worked great in Baja, Ocotillo and Havasu. I don't have to worry about flats. Not to mention they look awesome.
