yep Aircraft paint remover works too. I have done this to several street bike rims to then polish them up. not to expensive either- just time consuming.

I'm in the powder coating industry also. Easiest way to do it at home is industrial paint stripper and pressure washer. Make sure to wear gloves and safety glasses. You can pick up the stripper at most paint supply stores including automotive paint vendors. Good luck.

Do NOT let anyone blast your panels. They are too thin and will warp badly from the heat generated from mechanical stripping.
what he said. i do powdercoating. the best stripper is made by a company named. dads. a little time cunsuming but works. keep it out of the wind, it need to stay wet as long as possible, but dont keep respraying it to keep it wet. u cant burn it off because it aluminum, if it was steel i would say burn it off.

just go find a stripper, facterfmf knows a lot of them in your area.
