VisionX has been manufacturing lighting products for over 17 years, and High Powered LED lights for over 5 years now. There is a lot of other product hitting the market now, so I thought I'd start a thread here.
We want to explain LED technology, give information about our products and answer questions in general. Here are some Facts and Myths about LED lighting Fact: LED's can and do put out and project as much light as and more than Halogen and now HID's. Fact: LED's have very, very low current draw. Fact: There are many types of LED lighting product commercially available. Myth: LED's are cheap, "I can get 'em on ebay for like $5" Fact: High powered (3watt, 6watt, 10watt) "Emmitter LED's" far exceed the power and heat generation that small 1/8th watt LED's of the past do. Fact: You must cool hi wattage LED's in order for them to perform at their maximum capability. Myth: Anybody can buy Cree LED's off the internet for less than $10 and make their own Light or Light Bar. (well it actually is possible, but you'd have to design, engineer and then make the the heatsink housing) Is this how you want to spend your time? Fact: VisionX Makes numerous product under a private label contract for some very big names in the industry, which is usually sold at a higher retail price. Myth: All LED bars are the same... Fact: VisionX in fact has 5-different Lines of LED light bars with multiple sizes, configurations, outputs, performance, color output, price, etc.... Plus 2-different lines of conventional Offroad Style LED lights. Fact: I will answer ANY question about lighting, if I don't know the answer, I will find it and give it to anybody that is looking. |

If I could look past your pic.....I would say that would be one question he really should not answer for the privacy of his vendor.....

Yeah, that's correct. Can't answer that question in a public forum.

Do you have a LED light that would work in my trailers outside light pockets in place of the halogen fixture and bulb?

Our Utility Flood is a really nice little universal LED light. 0.5amp draw, 120 degrees of light. Hardly takes up any space. Here's a link;

Thank you for the info. I actually found RB uses your light in their custom made pocket and sells it as a kit. Looks really good and is only 2" thick so no cutting a hole on the inside trailer wall. With only .5 amp draw I can run that on the battery for a while . Thanks again
