UTV racing it growing in the PNW!

Here is a partial list of what event are happening for 2012

COORP - Central Oregon Race Park (Redmond OR) will have Stock and Modified UTV classes, and Trophy Karts as part of their 3 race series

Quadcross MX- (WA and OR) now has a UTV class as part of their 6 race series

OTBG - Over The Bars Gang (Goldendale WA) has UTV classes at many of its GP events

ULTRA GP (Glide OR) - will have a UTV class

Shedd GP (Albany OR)- will have a UTV class

KORR BC will have a UTV class

Idaho Ralley (Boise ID) will have a UTV class

Dunefest has some UTV events

YORR (MT & WY) have UTV classes at 3 desert races

We at PacNORE.com strive to grow off road racing in the PNW, and are continually adding new events as we learn of them. Keep checking in as we get new event info every week. The PacNORE.com Teryx will be racing many of these events as well

The opening round of the 2012 Central Oregon Offroad Race Park was an incredible event. The sunny Oregon day at the newly redone track provided some exciting racing action for the drivers and spectators alike. With classes for UTV's, buggies, Tuff Trucks, Mini Trucks, Full size trucks, there was no shortage of action.

Congratulations to TrophyGirl for putting on one heck of a race (and getting a new dent) to take the Unltd Mini win. Shawn (from WA) ran one heck of a race with the jeep (including 2 laps on a blown rear tire!). Randy's Pro2 put on one heck of a show, the LS powered 4 seater was on a mission. Vest's Trophy Truck was a crowd pleaser.

And yes there was carnage, broken axles and suspensions, roll overs, blown tires and wheels but no injuries. The crowd was excited all day and racers put on a heck of a show, with some very intense battles taking place on the track.

The UTV race had everything from a stock Rhino to a Redline to the PacNORE LT Teryx. We had a blast, and the new Cognito BOC LT kicked azz right out of the box.

Round # is July 21 - and the excitement is already building. We spoke to many people who are planning on bringing their UTV next round, the Jeep Guys from WA are planning on more races. If you ever wanted to get into (or back into) off road racing, COORP is your answer in the NW. The .7 ,mile track is unlike any other short course track we have been to -taking advantage of the natural terrain creates exciting racing.
