Default SR1 ride heights and shock lengths

We are starting on a new SR1 for my daughter to race! I'm tryin to just cut thru all the try this try that and get what the average ride heights, tires and shock lenghts are for a SR1, also what is the most common tire and rim size as well as off-sets front and rear. She is a big fan of Correy weller and hopes to get to meet her soon so as a dad that wants all for his daughter i'm tryin to make it happen for her, a 22 year old female adrenaline junky is kinda hard to tame and so the type of racin were doin now just bores her lol. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your set up will be a little different from GP/Desert style racing to Short course.

upon closer examination this evening we narrowed it down to 2 tracks here on the east coast she will run the majority on and thet both are short tracks so we will go with that for now.

Most top cars use 10" stroke shocks (maximum in most series). But you can get by with 8.5" shocks too. I think 6.5" stroke shocks may be a little small for the speeds you'll see with the R1.

Short course will be pretty low, like 9-10" of ground clearance. Desert around 13-13.5". GP a little less than desert.

Short course racers mostly use 26" wheels on 14" rims. Most common are the Maxxis Ceros and Bighorns. Desert/GP, I would do 26" on 12s, or 28" on 14s. Desert tires, I would run Bighorn OGs, or Bajacrosses. Beadlocks of course, for either.

WOW! you guys are right, quite the difference for different styles! Is the track width on the front of them the same as the rear or just different off-sets on the wheels?
