i was wondering what is the best motor oil to use for running at high temperatures?
and when shifting into gears sometimes is it normal for it to kinda kick into gear every once in a while? |

This is always just a debate, matters of opinion. I prefer Mobil-1 motorcycle oils. I use 20w50 in mine, but it can be hard to find. In a pinch I use 10w40. The motorcycle formulas dont contain the friction modifiers that can be a problem with wet clutch systems.
The jumping into gear is usually due to high rpm at idle, either because its choked on older models or the efi is running rich for the cold motor. Could be a simple idle adjustment needed too. |

Mobil 1 has specific motorcycle formulas.
The idle is adjusted with a knurled knob on the carb. |
