All UTV's Australian Inaugural SXS Rally Champtionship details

Well its with some joy that after a couple of years of hard work by many parties down under we are no able to say that our Peak Car racing body known as CAMS, have set a Class for SXS's to take part in the regular Australian Rally Car (ARC) Championship.

The Regs and sub regs have been posted for the Australian SXS Championships inaugural year.

This series contains 4 rounds and there will be 2 major offroad events besides with the Finke Desert Race and the Australian Safari.

I am not very happy to say that without any other manufacturer or association involvement that only Polaris and Can-Am are involved in the racing but the specs have been kept very much unaltered from a performance point of view so the major modification to other Marques would have made them out of bounds anyway.

I am happy to say that a sponsor member of UTV Underground has been selected as the sole provider of some 3rd party equipment to bring the Commander into a competitive position against the XP in Holz Racing Products, congratulations Mark and team.

I can only hope there will be an opportunity for me to compete in the series as I have some quick change-over of vehicles, hope for sponsors really as there is no etc etc. But never-the-less will be a fun competition if they can attract some competitors with 63 days on the clock to the start of racing, no previous racecars ready and holiday to contend with over that period.
