The RZR 170 OEM undercarriage protection simply does not protect the underside of the 170. Factory UTV has the answer with skid plates constructed from 3/8 inch UHMW (Ultra-High Molecular Weight) plastic. Significantly lighter than aluminum, these FUTV skids offer full protection for the RZR 170. With the RZR 170's ground clearance being at a premium our skids will not only give excellent protection to the undercarriage of the 170, but due to UHMW's very low coefficient of friction the FUTV skids will help easily slide over obstacles on the trail, where the stock 170 with it's exposed frame rails and cabling will leave the 170 high and dry on even the simplest of obstacles.
