The Most Fun A Family Can Have in the Sand

DuneFest 2012 will take over the dunes in Winchester Bay, Oregon Aug. 1 - 5. Five days of family fun have earned DuneFest an Ovation Award for being the “Best Sporting Event in Oregon” and the 2012 DuneFest will continue its tradition of excellence.

The Reedsport / Winchester Bay Chamber of Commerce invites you to join the fun on the tallest dunes in North America, where the best riding in the world takes place. The 2012 DuneFest is bringing back all of the festival favorites, and even adding a few new twists with the help of Meyer Media, Promoto Promotions and Oregon Off Road Racing Association.

Vendor Row is bigger and better than ever and will be packed with ATVs, clothes, riding accessories and an expanded food court. There is still time to reserve a space, but hurry - we expect to sell out soon!

Camping reservations open April 2, 2012 by calling the Reedsport / Winchester Bay Chamber of Commerce at: 541-271-3495. Camp on the sand where the action is, or stay at one of our RV resorts or motels, all just minutes from the heart of the festival. While you’re here, don’t miss the opportunity to take a long walk on the beach. Just steps away from the action of DuneFest, a quiet, undisturbed oceanfront stretches for 40 miles. Salmon Harbor is famous for its excellent fishing and crabbing, and both Reedsport and WInchester Bay are home to a variety of unique shops, galleries and restaurants. The Umpqua Discovery Center on Reedsport’s riverfront is fun for kids of all ages.Five days of fun are guaranteed with so many activities to choose from. DuneFest 2012 will also feature an event area just for kids where they can learn to ride from a pro in the safe riding zone.The entire family will love the excitement on the sand where there will be moto-cross racing daily, sand drags, poker run, treasure hunt, thrilling freestyle shows and much more.This year we’ll Rock the Dunes again, with the best rock-n-roll in the west.
