Seth Quintero’s “Karting 4 Kids” Toy Drive Benefitting Rady Children’s Hospital
Highlights of Seth Quintero 1st Annual Charity Toy Drive Event Benefitting Children’s Hospital

San Diego, CA- Thursday December 7th marked the 1st Annual Seth Quinteros “Karting 4 Kids” Toy Drive event. The event generated over 100 toys for the kids in need at the Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego. After Thursday’s event, Seth has shown he is not only an amazing young racer, but a very generous and thoughtful young man who is setting a great example for young off-road racers. “Karting 4 Kids” was inspired by Seths desire to help close friend & sponsor Chad Ragland of CAGEwrx who is going through a battle with cancer. Ragland encouraged Seth to find a way to put on an event that helped others going through similar life events. Seth experienced medical troubles as a newborn at Rady Children’s Hospital and his parents credit the amazing care to his survival. Out of this personal life experience the idea to team up with Rady Children’s Hospital was born. Check out this video highlight of the event!

K1 Speed in Carlsbad, CA kindly hosted this years event with support from RedBull, a sponsor of Quintero’s. With a virtual reality racing simulator, pizza, cookies, and of-course……go karts, the event was sure to be a great time. Companies, families, and professional racers such as RJ Anderson, Mitchell DeJong, Sheldon Creed, Mitch Guthrie Jr. and more showed up in amazing numbers, all bearing gifts and donations for kids in need. The toy donation got you an entry into the races where kids and adults alike had an opportunity to race each other for bragging rights and swag packs.

The event was a major success in that it brought families, friends, and professional racers together in support of a good cause. Off-road racing has alway been centered around family and community, this year’s “Karting 4 Kids”event highlighted the generosity of people and companies involved in the racing industry. The event was a great opportunity for kids and parents to have fun, in addition to donating a staggering amount of toys for Rady Children’s Hospital. We encourage those of you that couldn’t make it to join us next year.

UTVUnderground wants to extend a huge congrats and show of appreciation to Seth Quintero, his family and sponsors. The event was more than just racers, friends and family gathering for a good time, it was a show of love and support to those who are battling less fortunate events right now in their lives. The impact Quintero will make on the day he delivers the gifts is far greater than any race win. Together with this awesome community, we show that we can come together for the greater good and for causes bigger than racing. On behalf of Seth and his family, we want to thank each and every single person who came out to attend and support.

We will keep you updated as Seth plans to deliver the gifts in the coming days
