We at UTVUnderground.com are proud to announce alongside Arctic Cat their newest Wildcat model, the WILDCAT X! We had the pleasure of testing out the new 2013 lineup of Arctic Cat’s this past week in the small mining town of Randsburg, CA.  Arctic Cat brought along a host of new machines for us to try and by far the favorite of the bunch was the new Wildcat X!

Arctic Cat went to work on the existing Wildcat platform boosting the 951cc V-Twin engine to 90 + HP with improved TEAM Industries clutching and all new 23 way adjustable FOX Podium Shocks.  What has resulted is the fastest, smoothest Arctic Cat UTV to date! We have a special appointment with Arctic Cat in the dunes of Glamis to put the new X to the test in the dunes, once complete we will release our FULL UTVUnderground.com SHAKEDOWN video! In addition we will also launch a SHAKEDOWN video on the new 2013 Wildcat 4 which to our surprise was the smoothest riding UTV we have ever run through the big bumps. We can’t wait to tell you our full opinion on both of these new machines! In the mean time you should all know, both are very impressive!

Until the SHAKEDOWN……

Thief River Falls, Minn. (January 15, 2013) – The Wildcat 1000 X is the all-new High Horsepower King of the Wildcat 2-seat family. The Wildcat X combines 90 plus horsepower with the industry’s leading front and rear suspension, making it the best all-around Pure Sport ROV on the market. High horsepower is only a number on paper if you can’t get that power to the ground where it matters. That’s why Arctic Cat engineers partnered with Team Industries to develop a new Drive and Driven clutch that delivers the arm stretching torque and horsepower of the 951cc V-twin engine.

The Wildcat X also features a new sway bar that has been designed to work harmoniously with the allnew, 23-position, compression-adjustable FOX Podium shocks and Maxxis Bighorn tires to create an unrivalled pure-sport ROV experience.

The Wildcat X has been tested in some of the roughest off-road areas in the world, including Barstow,
California, the expansive sand dunes in Glamis and rock climbing in Moab. Whatever trail you choose,
the Wildcat X is for you!

  1. I purchased the Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000 and was completely not ready for what I got. Out of the box high performance is an understatement. It is quick, exceptional handling, smooth riding with almost every bell and whistle that can be put on a UTV. That will be rectified at once. I expected the run of the mill four wheeler and got a outlaw runner instead. So far no problems and I’m not expecting any. Great product. Now if we could just get the auto manufacturing companies to do the same.
