Seth Quintero’s “Karting 4 Kids” Toy Drive Benefitting Rady Children’s Hospital
Professional Youth Athlete, Seth Quintero Announces 1st Annual Charity Toy Drive Event Benefitting Children’s Hospital

San Diego, CA – You may know Seth Quintero as the 2015 UTV World Championship youth champion. You may also recognize him as the youngest RedBull athlete to have ever been signed to an off-road racing contract. You might even know him as a factory Polaris RZR athlete. But what you may not know about Quintero is that racing isn’t always where his mind is at.

Seth Quintero has announced that he will be hosting his first annual charity event on Thursday December 7th, 2017 at K1 Speed in Carlsbad, CA from 6-8pm. The event dubbed “Karting 4 Kids”, will be used as a Toy Drive in which the young professional racer from San Marcos, CA will then donate to Rady Children’s Hospital. The event is a year in the making and comes with support from the racers sponsors, family and friends alike.

Quintero began planning the event late last year. His plans were initially set to directly benefit his friend, sponsor, and fellow off-road racer Chad Ragland of CAGEwrx who is in the midst of beating cancer. The Ragland’s had other events in order and didn’t want one to affect another. In addition, Ragland didn’t want to absorb too much attention, but rather wanted to streamline the focus for his own battle to be put towards helping everyone in his shoes rather than just himself. They respectfully asked for Seth to continue his mission to help others and so Seth went back to work. Alongside his parents Amy & Aaron Quintero, they reflected on Seth at birth and the medical problems he had faced as a newborn. He spent time at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego and they credit the doctors and facility with potentially saving Seth’s life.

Because of this, the “Karting 4 Kids” toy drive benefitting the children of Rady Children’s Hospital was born. Together with RedBull, UTVUnderground.com, and many other friends, family and sponsors, Quintero will host the event at the popular K1 Speed go-karting facility in Carlsbad, CA.  The entire K1 Speed facility will be secured for the evening of Thursday, December 7th from 6-8pm and racing will be FREE with your donation of a NEW UNWRAPPED TOY!!

There will be races, celebrities and athletes alike and is open to everyone of all ages to attend!! There will be prizes for those racing and for those who don’t want to race or want to have additional fun, the Virtual Reality Room at K1 will also be open and free of charge during the hours of the event.

Quintero is inviting everyone of all-ages who would like to support the children of Rady Children’s Hospital to attend. If you or your company would like to offer additional support, the family is asking that you email [email protected].
