Casey Currie and Sean Berriman continued their pursuit of SSV victory at this year’s Rallye Du Maroc on Monday with the third of five stages in the event. While the duo found themselves in first place through the first half of the stage, navigation troubles dropped the duo to second in class.

“Today started out excellent and we led the stage to the half way mark,” explained Currie. “After the neutralization time we started back up and had a rough afternoon. Navigation issues with tough road books got the best of us. We are learning as a team and Sean is really doing a good job. All this training is what we need for Dakar. 2 more days of racing and we are ready.”

Just two days remain of this year’s Rallye Du Maroc, as the top rally raid teams in the world continue preparing for the upcoming Dakar Rally. Currie will look to build upon the strong foundations of the first three stages and reclaim the class lead before Wednesday’s finish.
