No, actually it keeps water out of your filter. It separates dirt, dust, silt, sand, snow, and even water from getting to your air filter. Helicopter technology. It works and it is very trick. My 2 pesos.

The rule is not about being able to 'order one', the rule states that the manufacturer must have produced...PRODUCED, 1000 units prior to it being eligible for the Pro UTV NA or Pro UTV turbo class. Otherwise it should...MUST race in unlimited. So Robby and Max should be tossed to unlimited...

Yes play and race are different IMO. For slower speeds and rock crawling a fan, it might work, but you have to make sure that the air doesn't short circuit through the other inlet tube. Therefore a flapper valve would be best to prevent this. Clutches are the least efficient at max speed and...

Matlock's air filter after 800 pre-running miles of the Baja 500.

Every test I have seen is that the fan actually decreases air flow at WOT/top speed. This is unless you are using a fan that moves over 350 CFM of air, which would be rare and draw a lot of amperage. My 2 pesos.
