LOL, thanks, we do our best to entertain! We were in "one wheel drive"....ended up with two broken rear axles and a destroyed front diff.....zero wheel drive is not very fast. Unfortunate, but we had a great run starting dead last and really had a great time. Good seeing everyone out there!

Huge kudos to Mitch...again. After battling with him the entire race, and barely beating him in 2011 with Brandon, and I can say he is not only a fantastic driver that knows the course very well, but he is an absolute class act and amazing sportsmen! Congrats to the King!!!

Just to clarify, no one is building one of the top 2 UTV's for $50k and a fully prepped Geiser TT is about $500k...not that there's a huge difference, but just wanted to clear up those numbers a little bit.:D

Man, that was a blast! I camped out in the 1991 car for a change this race...so nice and relaxing, I'm sure Bill can vouch for my level of relaxation as I literally completely missed 90 degree turns...not once, not twice, but three times!:D Anyway, the course was fast and smooth....almost...

According to the chatter on Pirate, the injuries seem to be quite a bit more serious than stated above fwiw. The only thing I have to say/ask is...was the course as poorly marked this year as the last couple of years? I honestly think the course markings in the past have been horribly...

Whatever, makes my wee-wee hard...kudos to all of you who have taken the "art" to that level!:cool: I personally "stick chit together", it rarely breaks, and occasionally I even luck into a nice bead...damn I need to practice more!:D

I think Silverstate is a pretty amazing course, especially in the trees...but that's just me.:D

Lots of prep, both on the car and logistical. We have to run 3 chase trucks for sure...especially toward the end of the race as you just can't cover them all with two. As stated, you can never have too many spare parts. Good luck and hope to see your there!

Of course, there have always been and will always be smaller "regional series". It really depends on what you want to do. There are many that prefer to play in the "arena league", some teams/racers/sponsors prefer to play in the NFL. There's absolutely nothing wrong with smaller regional...
