Bear with me, I'm new to the UTV thing....

Who has had a '14/'15 1000 and now has a '16 1000 and does the front end make more noise on the '16 ?

Bought a '16 1000/4 non turbo. Have about 100 miles total on it.
From mile 1 we've thought the front end makes a helluva lotta drive noise, clanking, rotational, like drive shaft or something. It makes more noise in 2wd than it does in 4wd.
A friend drove it and before he went 50' was surprised by the amount of noise. He owns 4 razors but none are '16 models.
So I asked the dealer about it and they tell me the '16 front end does make more noise because of something in the front end previously made of plastic (?) that's now made of aluminum.
Yeah? No?

They would be talking about the Sprague carrier. I suppose that could be making noise. I haven't driven a 16 non turbo but I have driven a 15 turbo and it doesn't seem to be too noisy.

I have yet to be in an RZR that makes this crazy front end noise.

I have 14' xp 2 seat no noise

ridden in (2) 15' 2 seat turbos and no noise.

hope mine doesn't start making it now that i have said this haha!

My 15 xp4 made the noise a couple time but only in 4wd. It sounds like a bunch of marbles in the diff.

I bought a billet sprague from Direct Drive CNC and the seal kit to move the shim and upgrade my sprague but haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

Wow, lotsa info on that diff-fix link. I'm definately not alone with this noise. Not super stoked to hear of this and some other issues these things have. Skipped to page 48... Still not quite sure what I'll do about it.
Yeah, it's a bummer but it has been a problem since the 15s were first released and I knew about it before I bought mine. Just going to have to bite the bullet and tear the diff apart.
