November8, 2012 El Cajon- Black Rhino Performance/Cook Off-Road Racing in collaboration with RobbyGordon and Speed Energy are proud to be putting on the 2nd Annual Toy Drive forthe cancer children of Loma Linda Medical Center.Speed Energy barrels will be available for toy drop off at Best in the Desert race registration, the Speed Energy Trailer or at the BlackRhino Performance Trailer under the Speed Energy canopy.If you are in the area of El Cajon, stop by the Black Rhino Performance shop and make a donation, Speed Energy will have donation barrels available there. Cook Off-Road Racing​

Cook Off-Road Racing was conceived 25 years agowith two brothers who had a dream to go play in the dirt, but in a way nobody could have realized would be so intense. The team grew from a simple, crudelybuilt sand rail which we attempted numerous times to pre-run some of the bigger races with, to our current state of the art 2012 Polaris XP 4 900. We haveraced almost all forms of desert racing; Class 2-1600, Trophy Trucks, Class 1Unlimited, ATV's, to our current UTV,and we have raced on nearly every track in the western states, even attemptinga co-ride position in the Dick Cepek Trophy truck at the Baja 1000 in 1995. Theteam currently consists of family and friends who share the same love andcommitment to the sport. I currently manage the team along with my wife, and mytwo sons Colton and Brendan who share in the driving duties along with our goodfriend Tammy Faulkner who is our resident co-driver. The team crew Jeff Corrieabrings a wealth of knowledge and commitment learned from his days at the ovaltrack. The rest of the team comes from all facets of life but they all share thesame passion for the dirt.
