660 has more top end and works better with a good port and polish job do to it's 5 valves vs the 700 4 valves.:p

So far I would prefer the 660 also, in due time the 700's will ahve alot of stuff available for hopping them up.

FI is nice and depending on what you are going to use it for, this is the way to go.

I love my 660, I feel they have more overall power and there r a lot of parts out there if you like to mess around to fine tune it

well idk about the 660 having more poewr than the 700 from factory, but they do indeed have more power upgrages than the 700. but give it time and i will gurantee that people will come up with something for the fuel injected motor that will bring the beast out!

well i had a friend with a stock 660 and a 700 stock and of course common since the 700 won. but i wish that people would start working on power mods for the 700 instead of the 660 cuz they arent making the 660 anymore. plus they have so many diff. kits for the 660. and weller racing makes a pretty sick kit for the 660 by the way

That makes 2 of us ! I thought that since it was more CC it would be fast but I was wrong on that thought. Might just be the driving of the people I have been around but im not buying that there are better due to the displacement or EFI (just my .02)

With what you say your going to be using it for, either one I would think should be sufficient. If your worried with buying used... go with the 700. But i'm sure there are plenty of CLEAN 660's out there for sale.

Yup... oil filter came loose... puked all it's oil out while climbing up OLDS. Didn't notice it till he got to the top. Filled it back up with luuuube, started it back up and was smokin like crazy.... SUCKS!
