Hello guys,

I have read most of the posts here and am looking for some help. We have racing quite a bit of Desert he in Texas. I know it's not like you Ca, and NV guys, but we are still having a good time.

Q-Who's the go to for building a Baja Utv? We already have a Best in the Desert legal RZR 1000, but I mean like which is the best cv shaft, the right or beefed tranny, clutch, etc?

Q-Who's the goal to, to hire to assist with support during the race?

Any help is greatly appreciated, just trying to get my son and I to the finish.

Thank you much,

Shane

Welcome to the site. Hopefully the guys here who have raced Baja will lend some advice.

You have options on axles:
RCV Performance
Summers Bros
SuperATV Rhino 2.0

Clutch:
Airdam

Trans:
I'd start with Holz Racing products.

Pit support:
Baja Pits
Locos Mocos
Etc

We have our Penhall Build up for sale. This is a great platform for the 500.

We use Summers Bothers for CV and Axle and have the Cryo Treated by Cryo Heat. Transmission is pretty simple. You go to Cryo Heat with your transmission and they cryo treat, micro polish and update the bearings. Clutching is two guys. Adam at Airdam or Nate at Alba. Both can set you up.

Good luck... See you at the 500...
