Hello, folks. Dropping in to say hello. I own a 2014 Yamaha Viking, and things are about to get crazy with it, this seems like a good place to share it.

The basic goodies - A Yamaha Nytro 1049cc 135hp efi 3 cylinder engine. Yamaha Clutches and H/L/R transmission from the Yamaha VK Pro/Viking Snowmobile (which also uses the 3 cylinder). A longitudinal mount will have the output from the transmission in line with the front and rear driveshafts so it will be easy to keep it 2WD/4WD. Will the diffs and axles survive?... we'll see. The stock A-arms will support a real 12" of travel front and rear... so that will probably do for this season. Ohlins TTX44 or ORQ 18/50 Shocks will handle the damping. Both have the PDS Progressive Dampening System... it uses a second piston and cup to create a hydraulic bump stop for the last 40 - 64mm of damper travel. Very similar to the Fox BOC.
