.as you are going on the 10 past palm springs/south 86 toward truckhaven/octo wells, east on 66 st /south on the 111 ,bay drive east ( Total time,about 40 min from indio ) does that help bart ?

I went out there yesterday to check out the train tracks and the new way in. The tracks come up quite a bit. The new way is all flat and very easy to get through. I am going out on Thursday, should be there sometime around noon.

I believe the ride starts 9esh so maybe 8 pending on how long it takes to unload and such ..
