How many hours? I usually price items at 50% off the new price when I buy and sell. Obviously something with an engine can/will fluctuate the older and more used it is.

So Cal
Mine has run flawless for close to 3000 hrs until recently fuel pump was failing intermittent. Looked up the code in the shop manual I purchased just for it to boil it down to the entire engine could be at fault. I think the carb model depreciated rapidly when EFI was released, that’s why they are so cheap.

The fuel economy and EFI fault detection that saves related cost and agony these days pays for itself has me never going back to carbs again when it needs R&R.

I recently bought a Onan 4000 quietpack with 76 hours on it for $400. I looked for a 5500 but they were all around $1250 to $1850.
