looking for a cheaper lit whip

as the title says.

i am looking for just a lighted whip under 100 preferably i haven't seen many nice ones for that price so i was wondering if anyone knew where i could get one.

how about some heat shrink tubing, a little wire a 9 volt battery and a lightbulb and socket from Autozone?

or at the vendors in you local sandbox.

Here $20 for a Stiffy Whip... they work great. Put your choice of bulb in it (1156 type). You can get a two pack of red LED bulbs from Kragen/Pep Boys etc. usually for $10 in the tuner section

You need to get a mount separate... same with all flags... heres a nice cheapy for that whip Tusk Quick Release 5/16" Flag Pole Holder Black | Rocky Mountain ATV/MC

thanks... i've already got that same flag with out the light. im gona hope my quick release works with it. if not then ill pick one of those up

You should be okay... as long as its a 5/16" flag you had before as well. They have 5/16" and 1/4" some mounts have a collet inside you can remove to switch between the two, otherwise you need a new mount.

its the type that screws down and tightens the sides against the flag pole
