Anyone have this? Mine is a 15. I keep blowing injector fuses. Both injector violet wires have continuity to ground. I am assuming that the ecu should provide the ground and the violet wires should be the power.

Is there a fuse for each injector? What do you have on the other injector wire? Are you checking it with the injector plugged in?

Ground signal on both sides of plug and fuse blows right away?

Ground continuity on one side of plug. Yes, fuse blows as soon as key is turned (without pushing the start button). With the evo injectors i had to splice the injector wiring. There was no injector markings to show polarity so I guessed. Really I don't see why an injector would have a correct polarity anyway. I then drove it for about 15 minutes and blew the injector fuse (7.5 amp). With 1 hour until race time I talked with the factory can am team and ended up putting in a 15 as that is what i had and they run a 20 in theirs. Ran for around 10 minutes and blew the 15. Now blows immediately. Wire is probably a 16 so I could have damaged it with the 15 amp fuse.

Unplug the injectors and leave the blown fuse in and test both sides of it. If there is ground on one side then your harness is grounded somewhere.

I found that the ground continuity on yhe violet wire goes open when I power the ecu, so that is probably correct. I have unplugged everything in the harness that feeds the injectors and when i powered it up the fuse did not blow. I have run out of fuses but plan to plug stuff in one by one, power up, and see what blows it.

Plugged everything in and it runs fine now... damn...
I messed with the rear half of the harness and did find one pair that had the outer covering melted but the insulation on each wire seemed fine. Other than that I found nothing unusual. Im sure it will come back...

Nevermind, one piece of copper on the burnt spot was exposed. Thank you for the help.
