For Immediate Release:
San Diego, CA (April 15, 2009) NORRS, National Off Road Racing Series is proud to announce that it has selected the AMB Timing and Scoring System.

“We have chosen the AMB MX system because of its accuracy in timing and with the AMB live results that will be offered to both fans and teams. We have specifically chosen the MX to be compatible to drivers running the Lucas Oil Series as well as the M4SX series. Also any team that raced on the west coast in the past 3 years can use their existing transponders and mounts.â€ÂÂ, Said Wesley Carr, COO.

“AMB is honored that NORRS has chosen to go with their AMB MX Timing and Scoring equipment. While looking at several different systems including AMB, we realize that NORRS had a choice to make. At the end of the day, AMB was chosen because it is the most widely used; most accurate and dependable transponder based timing system on the market today. It is our pleasure to be working with the premiere off road racing series.“, said AMB North American Director of Sales Paul Worosz.

NORRS will also be offering a Transponders trade-in rental program for any racer that ran WSORR last year that has any other provider’s transponder. Simply bring your transponder to the onsite timing and scoring booth, look up your registration and trade your current transponder for the AMB system for the race. A limited number of these will be available, so register early to get your trade-in. The trade-in is only good for the single race weekend, racers must trade back the transponders before leaving.
A weekend rental program will also be offered to drivers who have not purchased their own personal transponders. The rate for rental is $20.00 per weekend.
