All UTV's Oil cooler with R1?

I recently finished my R1 swap and hope to start racing it soon. Just wondering if its a good idea to run an oil cooler with the R1's?

the stock oil cooler is what everyone uses. A larger radiator is what an R1 really needs to keep the engine cool due to it being enclosed in a sxs.

the factory oil cooler works just fine. an r1 motor was design to run at 12,000+ rpm during a superbike race. sportbike engineers taylor the motors to the extreme coditions of racing not the street. the motors are detuned via the ecu and other emission systems for street use. placing an oil cooler in the system would lead to a cooler oil temp but would put to much strain on the oil pump to push oil to a cooler.

Thanks for the input guys. Looks like im sticking with the stock cooler.
