anybody out there know what 19-21 foot toy hauler has room for a teryx 4 seater? my first choice would be a 27 or 31 foot four winds fun mover toterhome. but wife shot down that idea.

so a toy hauler my half ton z71 can handle is next choice. just trying to see what people have tried and tested. thanx

Look for a weekend warrior 21ft front bath model. It has at least 12' to the first cabinet, if not more. Any model with at least 11' of storage space will work.

If you want new then look at http://eclipservmfg.com/#./WideLite21LBG

If you want a little bigger and still 1/2 ton towable you can try to find a Ragen SS2400 model. I think Stellar has a similar floor plan http://eclipservmfg.com/#./Xtra-Lite24SBG.

I have the ragen ss2400 it is 24' with a front quarter bed. I have 11' 4" to the first cabinet. I have been towing it for over 3 years with my 1/2 ton F150.

The newer 1/2 ton trucks are very capable as the all have higher towing capacities. I currently tow my set up with a f150 with the ecoboost motor. The twin turbo v6 tows and pulls way better than my previous 5.4 v8.

so now im looking at a pak rat trailer vs. a fleetwood scorpion. only pak rats i can find are either the short model, or are in rough condition. so i started to look at the scorpion. i used to pull a large jayco tent trailer with my jeep. but the scorpion has 12 feet of flat bed to hauler a T4. any body try one of these yet?

Thats gonna be brutal in a Johnson Valley windstorm, look for a lightweight Warrior, 21-23 footer.
Or slip on camper and trailer.
that did cross my mind. anderson lakebed and at koh i thought my tent was going to fly away. ended up in the truck. even my buddies 37 foot 5th wheels rocks pretty good in the wind. i lookeed at the warrior supercross, but dont think a T4 would fit. and a lance camper is too heavy. looked at a pop up type of overhead camper. and landscape trailer. getting frustrating. i just need to nail down T4 and rv before KOH.

sounds like a nice rig. but my 2000 z71 with high miles wont pull that :( being z71 its rated 6700. but with 230k miles, a 5.3, and on my third tranny.and the T4 weighs 1600, i need a new truck also. truck is used for 4 miles to work and back, and dezert trips only.

Just speaking from experience of losing lots of money in swapping RVs and trucks, get the horse before the cart :) Get a 1 Ton duelly and then ya can pull anything ya want. I bought several trailers based on my truck and was never happy. Then I would upgrade the truck then the trailer then the truck :-( Had I just got the Dulley in the beginning I'd have a lot more $ in the bank or for that matter lots more toyz :) Here's my current setup :)View attachment 11142

How wide is your t4?. I have a 20 foot sandstorm (actually 26 foot) and tow with a 07 1/2 ton silverado. It tows it loaded just fine. But the motor gets alittle hot in summer towing up cajon. And wind isn't bad in it on anderson during wind storms. But its only 63 in. In between cabnets and wheel well.
