Other than all the grossly overhipsterized (err, if that wasn’t anti-hipster, it would be a groovy new hipster-word, err?) commentary, it is one cool little truck! Just don’t expect me to walk around with stubble, weird hair, clothes from a thrift store... and a passive / out-of-focus / Mr. Unassuming / worship minorities / “do it because MTV says it’s cool” attitude, just to sleep with some sarcastic, overbearing, demeaning, man-hating, social warrior, hipster chick. I’m just a plain ol’ tax payin’, workin’ guy (with the backaches, headaches and calloused hands to match). Still, it is one cool little truck!

(Hope you men are going to allow a little truthful offense?)

Cool concept - especially if it comes with a diesel and 4wd. This type of vehicle is popular in non-us markets - think Utes in Australia, VW Aramok. Can see this creating / filling the compact pickup market.

Sort of hoping, even just a four cylinder, front wheel drive would work for me. In fact, to avoid service complexity and keep parts costs down, I’d even prefer such a conjuration. Though, I’d still love seeing videos of crazies torqueing up impossible mud hills with the same truck as me (albeit, with a mini-monster diesel 4wd version)!

With all the marketing and research going into the new Honda Ridgeline, the upcoming Hyundai Pickup Truck, could even ride the Ridgeline’s coattails as “The Poor Man’s Ridgeline”?
