Yamaha What type of coolant do you run?

I'm getting ready to get my new motor done in my race rhino.. What are you using for coolant? I'm sure anything would work.. But what's the best? I'm thinking on the blue stuff honda uses.. It safe for aluminum.. And I get one hell of a deal beings that I work for a honda dealer..any ideas?

I ran Engine Ice per the request of many who race and Weller Racing who built my Rhino engine. Just be careful, you cannot mix Engine Ice with any other coolant. It worked amazing!

even water. try to get as much of the water out after flushing as possible per engine ice dave.

any antifreeze I have left over and a couple of big squirts of dish soap.

We run Liquid Performance Racing Coolant Liquid Performance Of America in all our race vehicles and have been very happy with it. One of the benefits is you can add a little water in a pinch if you need to.

I RUN ENGINE ICE IN MY STOCK RHINO & HAVE HAD NO OVERHEATING PROBLEMS.

I was having a ton of overheating issues and switched to engine ice last summer. Works great but it is a bit of a pain. You have to always have a jug with you because you can't mix it with anything.

getting your oil cooler off of your radiator helps as well.

I didn't go that far but I also bought an aftermarket shroud which helped a ton!
