true that! I think i would want the X for the shocks, bead locks, and the black plastics!! Not to mention the steering wheel! Even if you are going to start over with other things you could take advantage of some of the extras and sell to the stocker owners what you ddint want....But I definitley hear what your saying!

it is way to soon to say ..whats the price difference of the line up ...85 hp out of there 1000 or buy a 800 and do the motor mods... witch way is less coin ???? could I buy a 800 and then get a 1100 kit and be under the price of the 1000 ??? need more info to make that choice ...but with the rear suspension like that and now I have been told weight is around 1300 looks like I might do some looking into one

I like the X cause its out of the box ready...but my dealer here is only getting one X and its spoken for so I may take a base model...as mentioned above I will replace most of the extra things the X has anyhow....

I SAW A COMMANDER 1000 XT THIS WEEKEND. WE LOVED IT. JOEY YOU DROVE THEM, WHAT DOES IT NEED? SHOCKS? I WOULD ORDER IT WITH A ROOF & HALF WINDSHIELD. IT HAS A LOT OF ROOM , STORAGE & I WOULD HOPE PLENTY OF POWER. DEFINITELY LOOKING INTO ONE.

EVEN WITH THE SEAT ADJUSTED & THE STEERING WHEEL MOVED? WE FIT GREAT. DIDN'T GO FOR A TEST RIDE YET. I LIKE THE 14" RIMS SO THE XT WOULD BE GOOD. I LOVE THE BLACK. I THINK THE YELLOW WILL LOOK GOOD WITH RED FLAMES.

The X all the way. It is sweet right out of the box. The bigger rims are a no go in the desert. You want the most amount of tire you can get to help soak up those bumps. I like the black plastics too!

I wasnt too impressed with the performance of the Commander 1000 at Glamis. It was slow. I was expecting a little more of of it. I didnt drive it but I raced it.
