After an unexpected crash that totaled my Polaris RS1 in the Parker 250 race, I had to hop in my Can-am X3 for the first round of WORCS Racing in Primm, Nevada.

It was a whole new scene being my first time racing with this organization, and a very uncomfortable transition from car to car. After being skeptical of a crash happening like that again, the nerves continued to rise all the way until the green flag dropped. But as soon as it went down I knew it was time to go to work.

I quickly moved up off the start pushing into fourth where I climbed past a wreck and one more car. The first lap gave me time to get used to the handle of the Can-Am once again, and lock in my place for the rest of the race. The ride was smooth and consistent. The car never failed with mechanical issues and pushed past all the obstacles given. A solid second place was achieved when I crossed the finish line setting in my first race of the WORCS series. The women’s class provided some tough competition in which I had to work hard to get on top of. I can’t wait to see where the rest of this season will take me!
