The UTV World Championship announced today that Polaris RZR® will return as title sponsor of the 2019 Polaris RZR® UTV World Championship April 4-7 in Laughlin, Nevada. The 2019 Polaris RZR UTV World Championship will see nearly two dozen classes of vehicles and many of the sport’s biggest names in both desert and short course UTV competition.
“Polaris RZR has been with us since our inception of the UTV World Championship and has been an incredible supporter over the years,” said UTV World Championship CEO, Matt Martelli. “They have been a pivotal partner in our growth and we are grateful to have their support year after year. The 2019 Polaris RZR UTV World Championship is on pace to be our biggest and most exciting UTVWC yet, and we can’t wait to welcome them to this year’s UTV Festival and three days of race action!”
Fueled by relentless innovation, RZR® is the ultimate combination of Power, Suspension & Agility. Their vehicles defy reason and are designed to dominate every type of off-road terrain. From trail and desert to duning, rock crawling and mudding, RZR does it all with industry leading capability.
Many of UTV racing’s top competitors race with Polaris RZR and are coming huge wins early in the 2019 race season. Mitch Guthrie Jr. scored back-to-back overall UTV wins at King of the Hammers and The Mint 400, while Seth Quintero tops the UTV Naturally Aspirated field in Best in the Desert competition after wins in both the UTV Winter Nationals and The Mint 400.
The 2019 Polaris RZR UTV World Championship begins on Thursday with the UTVWC Kickoff Party and continues on Friday with the UTV Festival, both at Riverside Resort Hotel and Casino. Racing kicks off Friday with Youth 170, 250, and 570 racing, then on Saturday the pros take to the desert and race for nearly 200 miles. Then on Sunday it’s the short course battles on a smaller modified course full of massive jumps, steep banked turns and door to door action! For more information, visit www.utvworldchampionship.com.
