2017 Can-Am Maverick X3 Side-by-side
November 17, 2016 – As you may have heard, a safety campaign on some 2017 Can-Am Maverick X3 vehicles was released in Canada and other countries meant to address an issue with the steering rack and pinion assembly. On certain vehicles, the steering rack and pinion assembly may have been manufactured by our supplier with an improper amount of grease. In some circumstances, this situation could result in steering lock.
BRP is working with the relevant authorities in the United States to get a solution to this issue released as soon as possible. The dealer will perform this work at no charge to you. We recommend that you avoid driving your vehicle until the repair is performed.
