LAS VEGAS, NV (December 27, 2019) – Best In The Desert, the largest off-road racing series in North America, kicks off its 37th championship season with the Tensor Tire Parker “250” Presented By Polaris scheduled for January 10th & 11th, 2020 in Parker, AZ.
The Tensor Tire Parker “250” Presented By Polaris features an 80-mile racecourse with some of the most iconic sections in all desert racing, including Osborne Wash, the “Goat” Trail, and the world-famous Parker Python. With one of the wettest winters in recent memory, the course conditions should be ideal for racing fast and furious. With almost all of the top motorcycle, quad and UTV teams attending with a fresh start to the season, the Tensor Tire Parker “250” Presented By Polaris should deliver some of the best action of the year. Where else can you race right alongside the mighty Colorado River?
235 entries were in the drawing for starting position on Dec. 23rd and by race day the event could potentially set a new record number of entries. Registration for the event is still open. Make sure to get registered before January 5th, 2020.
The Tensor Tire Parker “250” Presented By Polaris is also the kick-off event for motorcycle, quad and UTV of the newly formed Maxxis Triple Crown, which also includes the Maxxis “Casey Folks” Vegas to Reno race August 12-15, and the BlueWater Desert Challenge October 22-25. With the guaranteed cash payout for the Maxxis Triple Crown and the other events in 2020 Best In The Desert Series payout is projected to be over $600,000, the largest payout in off-road motorsports history.
